CDRef Meeting: Wednesday, April 17, 2024

6:30 - 8:30 PM at Christian Brothers Academy

This is an important, and MANDATORY, meeting for all referees that intend to work assigned matches this Spring and Summer.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, notify Secretary Joe Lindsay at secretary@cdref.org.

 

To officiate, you must be recertified for 2024.

  • This includes registering and passing the Laws of the Game test on the ENY GameOfficials website.

  • You must attend the CDRef clinic on law changes.

  • You must pay the local CDRef dues of $30.00.

For the 2024 soccer season, you will receive no assignments from the assignor until you fulfill the recertification meeting requirements and attendance.

  • Only plan to attend if you can stay until the end of the meeting.

  • You receive no credit for the meeting if you leave early.

Meeting schedule

CDRef generally holds a meeting every few months for members of the association.

CDRef will have an Annual Meeting each year, which is required for referees to attend.

Meetings are for members to learn about changes to the Laws of the Game, to learn more about ways to interpret the Laws of the Game, to learn about league specific updates, and to discuss any situations which may have occurred in your match.
